The Opinòmetre Institute has carried out more than 12,000 surveys as a provider within the Framework Agreement for the implementation of the Dibarometer of the Barcelona Provincial Council. The Dibarometer is a survey on citizens’ perception of the municipality, its services, and the administration of the local councils in the province of Barcelona. It is an unprecedented project that aims to help improve decision-making both at the Barcelona Provincial Council and within the local authorities themselves.

The second edition of the Dibarometer is being conducted throughout 2023–2024, with a joint representative survey for municipalities with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants and a representative survey in each municipality with more than 10,000 inhabitants (227 municipalities with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants and 83 with more than 10,000 inhabitants, excluding Barcelona).
